* Daily prepare raw ingredients and spices needed for scheduled production.
* Weigh ingredients and spice according to recipes
* Retrieve buckets, barrels or boxes or bags from walk-in, dry storage or freezer.
* Label bucket contents, recipe, batch number, number of buckets, date, initials and lot numbers.
* Maintain ingredient and spice code records and usage.
* Pull samples of lotted items.
* Prepare ingredients for Hobart batches and mixes using Hobart; sample and test product integrity to meet specifications.
* Rotate stock and report any ingredient or spice that is getting low.
* Check weekly production report for ingredients to be pulled from freezer.
* Prepare add-ons before doing next day batches.
* Other duties may be assigned.
* Weekend work required.
REQUIRED SKILLS

Create all national/regional new product & product line plans, products, and initiatives collectively with the business development team.

Grind onions, tomatoes, and cheeses as needed.

Quality Assurance Manager: Quality Assurance Manager in our Lowell, MI plant. The QA Manager manages and coordinates the review, revision and implementation of all quality and food safety programs including GMPs, HACCP, allergens, and organics.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Management of all food quality and safety audits including FDA and other 3rd parties as well as all internal audits.
Management of plant quality data collection including retains, testing, and inspection documents. Analysis of data for concerns, changes and/or opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with all quality and safety standards through communication, training, monitoring and documentation
Direct supervision of micro lab and floor QA technicians
