We’ve been using our BBQ so much this summer that we’ve already had to fill up our propane tank twice! It’s quick and convenient and the sky is the limit on all the delicious meals you can make on your BBQ.
One of my all-time favourite BBQ foods is STEAK. I seriously could eat steak every single day if my budget would allow it. The best way to enjoy steak, in my opinion, is with loads of garlic in foil packets. You can load up a bunch of your favourite veggies, herbs and spices with your steak, wrap it in foil and let the BBQ work its magic.
And trust me, this Garlic Steak Bites recipe is pure magic. Think tender, juicy steak enveloped in a rich garlic/herb butter. I like to make mine with fresh mushrooms because they absorb the flavor of the garlic butter so well.
You could also add in other veggies along with the mushrooms or even omit the mushrooms if you aren’t a fan. Add some sliced onions or green peppers. It’s a complete meal wrapped in a neat little foil packet.
I used Litehouse® Freeze Dried Garlic to get that incredible garlic flavor to permeate the steak and mushrooms. Bonus – your hands won’t smell like garlic either since there is no chopping involved. I found two tablespoons to be enough, but if you just can’t get enough garlic, feel free to add a tad more.
You can also bring these packets camping. Prepare them ahead of time and place them in the foil packets in your cooler. You can eat them right out of the foil packets if you like. Just be careful because they get super hot when they come off the BBQ.
Eat, enjoy and make the most of this summer season while it lasts. This Garlic Steak Bites recipe is one you need to try. I hope you love it, too!
