I feel like I blinked and all of a sudden, we were at the end of football season, gearing up for the big game in Tampa Bay. Now that I realized the big game is right around the corner it’s time to start planning for my snack spread with all things chips, dips, buffalo and wings. This year my new creation is Buffalo Chicken Pull-Apart Bread, complete with spicy buffalo sauce, blue cheese and creamy Litehouse® Homestyle Ranch dressing.
First things first, the star of this recipe is the rotisserie chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. Using rotisserie chicken makes this snack come together in a snap, as there is minimal prep and cooking involved. I also picked up a premixed buffalo sauce to speed things up. The key to easily creating your pull-apart bread is to choose a sourdough loaf that isn’t too large or tall. It will make it more difficult to tuck the chicken and cheese mixture inside of the cuts.
Make sure that your cream cheese is at room temperature so that it easily blends with the buffalo sauce. I like to use a mixture of Litehouse Simply Artisan Blue Cheese Crumbles and Monterey jack cheese for a creamy finish. Don’t be afraid to spread the bread apart to get the cheese mixture deep inside of the cuts. Things might get a little messy, but I promise that it’s worth it in the end!
You’ll want to serve this right out of the oven with sides of Homestyle Ranch dressing, Chunky Blue Cheese, extra buffalo sauce and carrots and celery. Your friends and family will be thankful you ditched the actual chicken wings this year and replaced them with a fun appetizer packed with flavor!
