While the fall is slowing closing out, I’m not giving up my love of all things pumpkin, caramel and apple. When cooler temperatures begin to set in and I realize that the leaves are changing and beginning to fall, my focus shifts to turning my home into a fall oasis! I pull out the fall candles and incorporate apples and pumpkin into everything that I’m making. After raking a yard full of leaves yesterday I realized that fall is sadly already on its way out!
I spend all summer long cooking with all of the fresh vegetables that I can find and hanging out in the sunshine cooking all that I can on my grill. In the fall, you can find me in the kitchen baking something in the oven. Perhaps this is why my weight fluctuates so much in the fall, but I don’t care, it’s a small price to pay for delicious baked treats!
There are so many great fall activities such as apple picking and hanging out at the pumpkin patch. It’s fun to bring those activities back home and into your kitchen. While I was enjoying some freshly picked apples this weekend with my Litehouse Old Fashioned Caramel the idea for a tasty fall pull-apart bread popped into my head!
Pumpkin, pecans, caramel and spice. All delicious things that can come together to form this quick and easy Caramel Pumpkin Pull-Apart Bread, perfect for your family! I encourage you to use fresh pizza dough, which you can usually find at a local bakery or in your grocery store. Be sure to poke a stick into the center of the bread before removing it from the oven to be assured that the center is fully cooked. I would also encourage serving this up with a side of fresh apple cider with cinnamon sticks!
