These crumbles add loads of rich and creamy flavor to classic summer grilling favorites. I used Litehouse Blue Cheese Crumbles to make a delectable sauce for topping grilled steaks. My husband loves to grill so he was happy to make the steaks while I whipped up the sauce (recipe below)!
Ingredients
- 1 eaSteaks of choice, for grilling
- 1 eaSalt
- 1 eaPepper
- 2 clovesgarlic, chopped
- 2 tbspbutter
- 1 eayellow onion, sliced
- 1 ½ cupwhite mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cupheavy cream
- 1 tspDijon mustard
- 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
- ½ cupLitehouse Blue Cheese Crumbles

- 1 eaFresh thyme, stems removed
Directions
Salt and pepper both sides of the steaks and top with garlic.Grill until medium rare (or your desired level of doneness).Melt butter in a skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and mushrooms and sauté until brown and caramelized, about 10 minutes.Reduce heat to simmer and add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until reduced by half.Add Litehouse Blue Cheese Crumbles and stir until melted.Add salt and pepper to taste.Garnish with fresh thyme (optional). Pour sauce over cooked steaks and enjoy!
